Viddal Riley’s coach has revealed that the up-and-coming British boxing star COULD face Jake Paul in the ring.
Riley and Paul first came to (verbal) blows while the former was in KSI’s corner as Jake’s brother, Logan Paul, was defeated in his professional boxing debut.
Riley is very much on team KSI, while Jake Paul is behind his brother, so these two’s relationship never really stood a chance of blossoming into something beautiful.
They have continued to lock horns online, intensifying speculation that they could eventually meet in the boxing ring. Riley’s coach, Leon Willis, has added to that speculation.
Willis told The Sun, “It could be a position where, let’s say Viddal is WBC champion, or he’s mandatory and Jake is active and taking the same routes, their paths could cross.”
“It might not even be up to Viddal, it’s too good to turn down. Easy money if the opportunity is there.”
Viddal has legitimate boxing credentials and is seen by many as a future world champion. It would make no sense for him to take a fight with Paul at this point in time.
Were Paul to continue winning fights, though, he is in the same division as Viddal and could eventually find himself on a collision course.
While Viddal would gratefully accept the Jake Paul cash grab for an easy night’s work, he’ll also be hoping this circus is ended by his close friend KSI, who will, at some point, fight Paul himself.
