UFC 280: Where to watch, full card and when does it start in the U.K?

Posted by

UFC 280 takes place in Abu Dhabi on Saturday night – which means that fight fans on this side of the pond don’t have to wake up in the middle of the night to watch it!

Ordinarily, UFC fanatics are forced to make the difficult decision as to whether to stay up until the early hours to see their favourite fighters in action, or run the risk of setting an alarm – and usually missing it.

Not today, though, as UFC 280 will be taking place in the Middle East, Abu Dhabi, to be precise, which means that the action will be getting underway from 7pm BST (UK time), rather than something silly like 4am.

Where can I watch it?

If you’re watching in the U.K, UFC 280 will be live on BT Sport Box Office, all yours for the (rather eye-watering) price of £19.95. It is a stacked card with a hugely anticipated main event, in fairness.

Who’s fighting?

There are some tasty-looking bouts in the prelims, but in terms of the main card, UFC 280 will kick-off with a tussle between Katlyn Chookagian and Manon Fiorot. That’s followed by Beneil Dariush vs Mateusz Gamrot.

Sean O’Malley will be taking on Petr Yan, before T.J. Dillashaw challenges for Aljamain Sterling’s UFC Bantamweight title. The main event, which we’ve all been desperately looking forward to, is Charles Oliveira vs Islam Makhachev, for the vacant UFC Lightweight title.

We can’t wait…
