Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and his side will want to correct a statistic that has become reality following their 1-0 defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion on Wednesday.
Jurgen Klopp and his team aren’t having the best season this year. Between Covid, injuries and results the German manager and his side may want to just fast forward through the 2020/21 season and be done with it.
Following the success of last season when the Reds won their first ever Premier League title and first league title in 30 years, this season was always going to be difficult.

Liverpool have been hard hit with injuries this season with both Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez ruled out for the season early on which has been costing Klopp’s team – particularly lately.
The Reds are coming off the back of two straight home defeats in the Premier League, a situation that hasn’t happened at Anfield since 2012.

Another frightening statistic that Klopp’s men will want to correct is they don’t want to become the first ever Liverpool team not to score at home in four consecutive league games.
Liverpool have currently matched the record for most league games at home without a goal which currently stands at three for the current champions.
I just asked Jürgen if he realised we’re the first Liverpool side to fail to score in three successive home league games since 1984. He said NOT NOW JAMES.
