Olga Danilovic and her partner, Anastasia Potapova, lost in the quarterfinals of the French Open women’s doubles this week.

The media have singled out the pair in Danilovic’s native Serbia as the ‘most beautiful doubles pairing of all time’.

Danilovic, world number 33, and Potapova, world number 37, both are singles players to watch, and they have recently managed some eye-catching wins.

The 23-year-old defeated Jessica Pegula at this year’s Australian Open and also reached the finals of the Rouen Open where she lost to Elina Svitolina.

Potapova, 24, claimed her third singles title at the Transylvania Open and defeated Olympic champion Zheng Qinwen in Madrid.

Danilovic is a big fan of Novak Djokovic.

“He’s No1 for me in every part of being a tennis player,” she said in 2021. “When you talk to him, you think, “OK, now I’m going to be everyone after talking to him”.

“His energy and his dedication and his passion to play and work is something that pushes you to be better.”

Danilovic is his country’s No. 1-ranked women’s player. She has teamed up with Djokovic on-court and played United Cup doubles for Serbia at the end of 2024.

She has been publicly in a relationship with Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak.

Potapova, meanwhile, appears to have been in a relationship with Tallon Griekspoor and has attended several matches in his corner.
