Channel 4 are set to win the race to air England international matches ahead of ITV, according to a report published by The Sun.
As is mentioned in the report, rights to air England games previously went to the market back in 2017, with ITV having triumphed and the channel having remained the home of Three Lions fixtures.
In addition, Sky Sports has had the privileged of airing the Nations League games that Gareth Southgate’s men having played a part in. The BBC showed the Euros, so there’s been a nice spread across the three platforms.

In what will come as unwelcome news to all of them, a new player has entered the game.

As is reported by The Sun, Channel 4 are understood to have won the bidding to show as many has 10 England matches a year, beating ITV in their efforts to retain the rights to show the games.
That means there will be a new home of England fixtures, on a channel that nobody deemed to have a legitimate chance of coming in and scooping up some of the most coveted TV rights in the business!
