Captain Robbie Keane has missed training with Ireland today due to the birth of his second child.
Republic of Ireland assistant manager Roy Keane says he will be available for the game with the Germans on Thursday at the Aviva.
Seamus Coleman is still an injury worry, but Keane was asked if the birth of his second child means Robbie Keane is a doubt for the match.
A journalist present tweeted Keane’s response.
