Brazilian striker Roberto Firmino has revealed what Jurgen Klopp has said to his players following their recent slump in form.
Liverpool are 10 points off league leaders Manchester City who sit on top of the Premier League table with 50 points and a game in hand.
According to the Mirror, Firmino told the official Liverpool FC matchday programme: “He is never negative. He’s never let our heads go down.
“He’s always been motivating the team, letting us know what we are capable of, what we demonstrated last year and for us to look ahead. He knows what we can achieve.”
Despite Klopp practising positivity with his players it seems the Liverpool boss is feeling some pressure after he unnecessarily snapped at a journalist over the weekend.
When asked about the title race and being “10 points behind Manchester City” and City having “one game in hand” Klopp snapped at the Journalist saying: “I really think you should prepare your job a little bit better.”
הרבה דברים @nivdovrat הספיק לעשות במהלך הקריירה שלו – ואחד הדברים שהוא הכניס לרשימה (פעמיים!) זה לעצבן את יורגן קלופ. אבל ממש.
