Liverpool v Manchester United is always a fixture to look forward to due to it’s fiery history and strong city rivalry. It’s not all serious though as former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand showed when he directed a bit of friendly banter towards Jamie Carragher on Twitter.
Ferdinand is obviously going for United and he wanted to remind Carragher which way he wants the game to go by posting a picture of himself celebrating a goal against Liverpool back when both men were still playing.
Hoping it's like this tonight @Carra23 😬😬 #MUFC #LFC #LIVMUN pic.twitter.com/Bo2RNutWAN

And here’s Carra’s response:
No chance! You did love that celebration to make sure you made the picture in the paper! BT allow you to watch all the best PL games on Sky😜 https://t.co/c1Nc0pOMU3

Liverpool go into tonight’s fixture as the favourites but if we’ve learned anything from Liverpool/United games it’s that nothing is certain and drama is never far away.
