Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand is absolutely loving life now as Liverpool have lost to Southampton away giving United the chance to go top of the League. It has given him the chance to bring back something he said at the beginning of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s reign as Manchester United boss. Rio was the man who started “Ole’s at the wheel” and he’s not going to let rival fans forget it. A sentence which has been used to ridicule United fans and players when the club is underperforming and now Rio is hoping people remember the faith he had in former teammate Ole at the beginning.

This is the original video and Manchester United have lost a number of matches since Rio’s original statement but maybe he was right all along and Ole just needed time. If there are any superstitious United fans out there you will hate to see Rio tweet this as it might mean a bad spell of play for your team with some fans calling the “Ole’s at the wheel” quote cursed. What do you think? Has Rio jinxed United in the title race?
Yessss Ole is officially at The Wheel… Signed, Sealed, Delivered! Manager of @ManUtd! 🙌🏽 I hope my Thank You is in post Ole 🤣📝❤️ #MUFC #Ole pic.twitter.com/lUUel4f6zw
