Brazil star Richarlison fluffed his lines from 12-yards in the gold medal match vs Spain at Tokyo 2020.
Brazil were awarded a penalty via a VAR review, with Spain keeper Unai Simon adjudged to have fouled Hertha Berlin forward Matheus Cunha after missing his punch.
The referee took his time to review the incident on the pitchside monitor before making the decision to give Brazil a penalty, which Richarlison stepped up to take.

Richarlison has been one of the stars of the football we’ve seen at Tokyo 2020 to date, so you’d have bet your house on him burying it to give Brazil the lead.
However, the Everton forward blazed harmlessly over the crossbar after a stuttered run up, letting Spain off the hook and wasting a golden opportunity to give Brazil the lead.
