Well so ends the Rainbow Cup, Benetton Treviso will now play the winners of the South African Rainbow Cup in their home stadium, Stadio di Monigo on the 19th of June. Treviso were due to take on the Ospreys this weekend, but the game has now been pulled after the Welsh Region has had a few Covid positive tests.
‘A fitting end to the tournament’ – A lot of Munster fans aren’t happy with the ending to this tournament, and probably rightly so, but what can you do in Covid times? A hugely disappointing end to Munster season another year without any trophy to add to the cabinet, it’s been a while now for the southern province. This is a good achievement for the Italian side though, even though they had some good fortune, but we wish them all the best in the final.

Disappointing that Benetton's final game is cancelled and they are handed a place in the #RainbowCup final.
Playing Zebre twice and no games against Munster, Leinster or Ulster really worked in their favour.

Benetton advance to the Rainbow Cup final having played Zebre twice and gotten one walk-over in three of their five games.
Great to see Italian rugby doing well and all, but surely not like this… 🤷🏻♂️

Where to for Munster next season, would you still have the current management in charge of the red men? Interesting summer ahead for Munster rugby.
