The Belgian international was key to Graham Potters’s success last season but hasn’t gelled as well with the new coach, Roberto De Zerbi.
Earlier in the week De Zerbi criticised the winger for his ‘poor attitude’ after he walked out of training.
“He left the session without saying anything to me. And it’s not good,” said De Zerbi.
“I spoke with him and I explained this attitude, behaviour, I don’t like.”
This has fuelled rumours of Trossard’s desire to leave the club, which have now all but been confirmed.
The player’s agency tweeted this out on Friday.
