Sheffield United star Oli McBurnie has been filmed appearing to stamp on a fan who invaded the pitch after last night’s playoff semi-final chaos.
Nottingham Forest defeated Sheffield United in a dramatic penalty shootout to secure their place at Wembley for the playoff final. Predictably, their fans invaded the pitch as the final penalty was saved and the result was confirmed.
There were some ugly scenes on the field of play, with Billy Sharp having fallen victim to a ghastly headbutt from a fan and being left in need of stitches. The fan responsible was subsequently arrested by the police.
