Paul O’Connell’s move to Toulon may not go ahead after all because of an old shoulder injury.
It had been reported last month that O’Connell would sign a two-year deal with the French club before the IRFU then confirmed this month that Ireland captain will retire from international rugby and leave Munster at the end of the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
However, it is now being report by Midi Olympique that O’Connell may not be heading to the European champions.
Rugby writer, Gavin Mortimer, said an old shoulder injury is giving Toulon the jitters and instead they may turn to Aussie lock Mark Chisholm.
