“Neymar to Chelsea” has been trending on Twitter after Kylian Mbappe extended his contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
Mbappe shocked the world on Saturday after deciding to snub advances from Real Madrid and extend his PSG contract. It was the decision which nobody anticipated and one that left Florentino Perez red in the face.
In the wake of the contract being signed, there has been some suggestion that Mbappe will be granted further power at the Parc des Princes and will be consulted as part of the decision-making process on club matters.

One consequence of that could be the departure of Neymar, with whom Mbappe has always shared somewhat of a frosty relationship. If Neymar was to depart, there are merely a handful of clubs who could afford to sign him.
One of those, once the takeover is completed, is Chelsea. Their fans appear to be convinced that this is a deal that Todd Boehly ought to pursue – with “Neymar to Chelsea” having been trending on Twitter for hours…
