Today’s Transfer Rumours – BenchWarmers

From Manchester City reportedly aiming to spend over £150m to Macclesfield Town fundraising to try and tempt Raheem Sterling with the offer of his dreams, BenchWarmers bring you the transfer headlines of the day, no matter how crazy they are.

Raheem Sterling – Manchester City & Macclesfield Town

Since the news broke out that Raheem Sterling felt ‘Bullied’ into signing a new contract at Liverpool, the transfer gossip around him has exploded into life. Although we’re not quite sure how big of an explosion is made by a Macclesfield Town bid, not very large I expect.  The club have started a fundraising campaign to try and lure the 20 year old but so far they’ve raised a grand total of £199, with the target £50m. So their is still hope that they can outbid Manchester City who sources say have submitted a second bid of around £30m. Which isn’t too far off Macclesfield’s £199, so don’t give up lads.

Paul Pogba – Manchester City

The French youngster has had a blossoming career after leaving Manchester United, almost winning the treble this season after a closely fought final against Barcelona in the Champions League. Reports say Manchester City will break the transfer world record and offer a humungous bid of £86m which makes the 22 year old worth more than Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo, is he worth it? Check This Out.

Hugo Lloris & Harry Kane – Manchester United

With David De Gea most likely leaving United and head to Madrid, United are looking for a new keeper to replace the Spaniard and take the number 1 spot ahead of Victor Valdes. With Hugo Lloris reportedly wanting Champions League this is the ideal chance for United to grab him, but they aren’t stopping there, oh no. The Red Devils are looking for a double swoop to also take 21 year old Harry Kane to old Trafford, after a blinding season at Spurs the Englishman has bet set a price tag of £50m but with only one season of Premier League experience is he really worth that much?

Petr Cech – Arsenal

Since the arrival of Thibaut Courtois after his successful loan campaign at Atletico Madrid, Chelsea’s previous number one Petr Cech has lacked first team game time as much as he may have wanted. Clubs such as Man United, Arsenal and Juventus has all been mentioned being interested but many say Arsenal are the favourites to sign the shot stopper as it is more convenient as both teams are based in London. Reports say the agreed bid from Arsenal is around the sum of £11m.

Memphis Depay – Manchester United (Done Deal)

After a long process Manchester United have completed the transfer of PSV’s Memphis Depay. The 21 year old has a lot of potential and according to some reports he may be the next Ronaldo, but I don’t think we can say that just yet. He helped lead PSV to the Eeredivisie title and also won the Golden Boot, not bad hey? The Dutch born winger has impressed many with his free-kicks this season and says Manchester United fans can expect many more the come, and looking at this clip, I’m exited.

That’s todays main transfer news, make sure to share your ideas in the comments and lets hope some of these deals happen.
