Mick McCarthy the man born in Barnsley and played for the Republic of Ireland 57 times has had a pretty successful run as a manger, having brought Ireland to the World Cup in 2002 and having a great run despite the fallout with the Irish captain Roy Keane a the time over the training conditions.
