It’s not the counties that you need to be looking at, it’s at a lower level where rural clubs can pay coaches €150/€200/ session and are doing fundraisers around the clock to keep it all going …
They hosted Dublin 2 weeks ago, with a crowd of 15,000. That’s a lot of gate receipts revenue. They are also sponsored by Elverys. Don’t conflate amateur players playing for a professionally run organisation with lots of sponsors and revenue streams.

Don’t talk shite – ever see AIL Rugby – you’d have 2-3 of them a year and possibly a 2 nighter thrown in for club teams who have 1/10 of a county GAA budget !
