Erik ten Hag’s side made history during their disappointing Champions League campaign.
The Red Devils were knocked out of the Champions League after a 1-0 loss to Thomas Tuchel’s Bayern Munich on Tuesday evening.
A Kingsley Coman second-half goal put the nail in the coffin for Ten Hag’s side as they have been launched out of all European competitions, finishing bottom of their group.
Unfortunately, this campaign won’t be easily forgotten as Manchester United has set the record for the most goals conceded by a Premier League club during the group stages at 15.

To compound their woes further, they must travel to Anfield at the weekend without both Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire who picked up injuries during the loss.
This is on top of the already bad news that their captain, Bruno Fernandes, will also miss the trip as he serves a suspension after picking up a yellow card during their 3-0 loss to Bournemouth.
