Manchester United draw Liverpool in FA Cup fourth round – plus other draw results

Manchester United will host Liverpool in the fourth round of the FA Cup after the Premier League table toppers were selected to play each other in Monday nights draw.

The two sides will meet each other twice in one week when they clash on January 17th at Anfield in the Premier League and then again on January 23rd or 24th at Old Trafford for the FA Cup fourth round.

The two fixtures could be big turning points in both teams success this season as both United and Liverpool are currently battling it out at the top of the Premier League and victory for wither side could have a huge impact on the outcome of the league.

United have not beaten Liverpool since March 2018, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer yet to taste victory against United’s bitter rivals side in four attempts as manager, once as Cardiff City boss.

The draw for the fifth round was also made on Monday with all of the ‘Big Six’ avoiding each other should they advance. The draw went as follows:
