The Erik ten Hag era is underway at Manchester United – but it looks as though it’s more of the same in store for the Red Devils.
Man United supporters will have hoped that ten Hag would be the man to turn their fortunes around after several years of pain and suffering.
He may well be, eventually, but United are off to an awful start this season, having conceded to Brighton in the first-half at Old Trafford.
Danny Welbeck, who has been sublime thus far, made a perfectly-timed run and latched onto the ball in the Man United penalty area.
Welbeck cut the ball back across goal and it landed at the grateful feet of Pascal Gross, who made absolutely no mistake with his finish.

Gross was not done there, though. Before the half-time whistle blew, Gross ghosted in at the back post again and beat David de Gea for a second time.
