Atletico Madrid have reportedly offered Alvaro Morata to Manchester United as a potential replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo is still understood to be keen on securing a move away from Man United this summer, despite the club’s resistance to let him leave.
Were CR7 to depart, Man United would, obviously, need to secure a replacement of serious quality to plug the hole that’d be left in the squad.
According to Fichajes, Atletico Madrid have offered United the opportunity to sign a former teammate of Ronaldo’s in Alvaro Morata.

Juventus opted against signing Morata on a permanent basis and the Spaniard subsequently returned to parent club Atletico.
They have been attempting to ship him on all summer, but they haven’t yet found a club silly enough to pay the asking price for Morata.
That’s where Man United come in, with the Red Devils’ recruitment strategy an absolute mess. This could be a match made in heaven… or rather, hell.
