Former Barcelona striker Luis Suarez has landed himself a huge €1 million goal bonus after the Atletico Madrid striker bagged himself 16 goals in 17 appearances so far this season.
Suarez was in tears when he left Barcelona after the club felt he was no longer at his best but the Uruguyan has proven his old employers wrong and now he’s laughing all the way to the bank.

The veteran striker has been banging in goals for fun this season and his contribution has helped Atletico each the summit of the La Liga table where they sit 5 points clear of second place Real Madrid.
Following his blistering form, Suarez received a €1,000,000 goal bonus for reaching 15 goals and that works out at a whopping €62,500 per goal.
According to Mundo Deportivo – as per AS.com, Suarez could be in to make even more money if he hits the 20 goal mark – a task that looks inevitable at this stage.
Suarez left Barcelona on bad terms last summer for a fee of €4 million after spending six years at the club.
