Shane Lowry has taken a share of the lead in the Scottish Open with a second successive round of 66.
The Offaly man is enjoying an excellent season and finished ninth in the US Open last month.
Lowry has steadily moved up the world rankings and is now showing a lot more consistency.
“I’ve settled down a lot and matured a lot,” said Lowry, who won the 2009 Irish Open while still an amateur. “Everything in my life is a lot more stable and my golf is reaping the benefits.”

Really like Shane Lowry as darkhorse pick for The Open next week. But now that he's leading Scottish Open, it'll look like a bandwagon pick.
