The job Arne Slot has done since taking over from Liverpool’s legendary manager Jurgen Klopp(The man that delivered the clubs first league title in 20 years) has been nothing short of incredible.
Liverpool are seriously beginning to believe that this is their year and why wouldn’t they, they are out in front. If the Red side of Merseyside can navigate their way through the festive season, they have a right change of bringing the league back to Liverpool for the first time since 2020.
Liverpool fans didn’t really get a proper chance to celebrate that league title as it was during the height of Covid. If they win this title, this season, you can be sure every pub will be full to the brim, if there’s one thing they love in Liverpool, it’s their football and their precious LFC.
It’s a club with a rich history and one that demands success, Arne Slot has come in and taken to the Liverpool job like a duck to water.
He has also come in at exactly the right time, Manchester City are going through an extremely unusual period and losing to Liverpool this weekend was their sixth straight game without a win. Arsenal are doing what they always do, failing to deliver ..
And Chelsea are a lot better this season, but you still wouldn’t fancy them. None of that is Arne Slot’s problem, his sole focus should be set firmly on winning the Premier League for that famous football club.
If the 46 year old Dutch man manages to do that, he will be added to an elite list of Liverpool favourites. Liverpool are in pole position and you’d be a fool to back against them now.
There’s a long way to go this season though, with plenty of twists and turns still to go this season. Not to mention the other competitions like the FA Cup tickets, Champions League and Carabao Cup. Can Liverpool win more than trophy this season?
