The Liverpool and Netherlands defender is back playing with the national set up and was very impressive last night as the Dutch hammered the Turks six goals. to one in the World Cup qualifier. There was a massive scare at one point in the game where the defender looked to be in trouble with his ankle and Liverpool fans had visions of Jordan Pickford and Everton last season.
Luckily for the Liverpool faith the 30 year is fine and is of no worry. This guy is a massive part of Liverpool’s team and especially if they want to go on and compete for the honours this season.

Ever since that injury last year, I’m incredibly nervous every time Van Dijk makes contact nowadays. Even a handshake would give me flashbacks lmao
