Posted by

This week we sit down and talk to former dual star Stephen Lucey, Stephen played for the Limerick hurlers and footballers for over fifteen years. A great player and defender for the treaty county. Stephen has one Munster hurling medal and played for Limerick in the Championship over 50 times for the hurlers and footballer combined.

Stephen is also a GP in Limerick city and comes from Croom in county Limerick. Stephen also attended cistercian college roscrea in Tipperary. Where he learned a lot of his hurling and even played a bit of rugby. Stephen also famously invited the president of Ireland Mary McAleese to a house party in Limerick before the All-Ireland final in 2007. Give it a listen below;

Stephen is also still involved with being the doctor for the Limerick footballers and we wish him well for the year ahead and hopefully he picks up that junior medal with his club Croom.
