Limerick needed that win on Sunday and it’s been a long time since they played a league game at the Gaelic Grounds. It’s a win that John Kiely will be delighted with and hopefully for the Treaty county and their supporters it’s onwards and upwards from here on.
It’s going to make for a great All-Ireland this one and it will be interesting to see who lifts the Liam McCarthy cup at the end of the year.
