Limerick GAA man Jim Riordan has sadly passed away, Jim loves his GAA and was a major part of the success in the Treaty county. The Limerick GAA website said the following;

All in Limerick City GAA were shocked with this morning news of the death of former chairman and current Assistant Treasurer Jim Riordan, The City GAA Board would like to express our sincere condolences to the O Riordan family and extend families, May Jim Rest in Peace.
Jim also held positions of Treasurer & Vice Chairman, Jim’s officership as City board officer are as follows Chairman 2013 to 2017 Vice Chairman 2008 to 2012, Treasurer 2003 to 2007 and Assistant Treasurer 1998 to 2002, 2018 to Jim untimely death.
