News is coming out online today that All-Star goalkeeper Nickie Quaid has suffered an ACL injury. This is a huge blow for Limerick and he will have his work cut out in trying to get back for the Championship in 2025.

Nickie Quaid is the very back bone of that Limerick defence and like an extra defender for the Treaty county. We wish him a speedy recovery.
