Lewis Hamilton was absolutely FURIOUS with his Mercedes team in the midst of the action at the Dutch Grand Prix.
Hamilton was leading the race and in a strong position to cause an upset at Max Verstappen’s home race.
The Brit has never gone an entire Formula One season without winning a race, and he’s yet to win one this year.
He, and his fans alike, will have been thinking that today could be the day – but he was wrong.
Mercedes’ questionable decision-making during a virtual safety car saw George Russell, who was in second place, pit for soft tires and lose a place to Verstappen.
That left Hamilton exposed to Verstappen, who had also pitted for softs, and it was ultimately one of the easiest overtakes Verstappen will pull off all season.
Needless to say, Hamilton, who is often cool, calm and composed over the team radio, was absolutely furious…
