Brighton captain Lewis Dunk has revealed that manager Roberto De Zerbi has instilled great belief in the team since arriving as manager.
De Zerbi replaced Graham Potter as Seagulls boss in February with the club 4th in the Premier League and Dunk revealed that he has made big changes to the team following his arrival.
“His passion and what he demands is what we’re seeing now on the pitch and we go into every game thinking we can win,” Dunk said to Talksport.
“We realised it quick [that De Zerbi was an interesting character] and it was a difficult transition from Graham Potter, he did an amazing job putting us in a great position.”
Dunk went on to say that it took a while to settle with De Zerbi’s philosophy but it wasn’t long before him and the players understood how far they could go under his stewardship.
“He’s a very passionate man..”
