(Video) Legia Warsaw fans VIOLENTLY clash with police at King Power Stadium

Legia Warsaw fans were filmed attacking police at the King Power Stadium during their visit to Leicester on Thursday night.

Leicester defeated the Polish side to ensure they’ll be sitting top of the group heading into the final matchday of the group stage. It was a result that left Legia rock bottom and on the verge of elimination.

Perhaps the defeat stung the fans, or maybe this is just standard practice in Poland, but the behaviour of the travelling supporters in wake of the contest was truly abhorrent.

Foxes fans captured violent clashes between Legia fans and the police in the stadium, with one police offer taking a tumble after being kicked by one of the aggressive Poles.

Too often do we see fans from Eastern European nations behaving in this manner on away days in Europe. The governing bodies ought to make an example out of these Legia fans by giving them a lengthy stadium ban.

There is absolutely no reason nor excuse to be attacking police officers during their visit to English football stadiums. We can only hope that nobody was seriously hurt…
