Lazio supporters brought several banners displaying ‘anti-Irish’ messages during their Champions League game against Celtic on Tuesday.
The Scottish club lost 2-0 on the night, as they have now been knocked out of the competition in the group stages for the second consecutive year.

But the biggest talking point from the game was off the pitch as Lazio fans could be spotted holding anti-Irish banners with the words ‘the famine is over go home fucking potato eaters’ written on them.
The Italian club has a history of displaying horrible messages as they are widely known as a fascist club.
