This is just awful to see, the midlands club BallyroanAbbey GAA Club was broken into a few days ago and now the club is looking for any information in finding these lovely people. Covid maybe start to frustrate people, but surely there’s no need to take it out on your GAA club? A club that gives so much to the community.
“It’s not very often we have a problem up at the pitches, however we arrived up this afternoon to find this disgraceful vandalism. It’s absolutely pointless and cost’s money we could spend elsewhere. We will be reporting it to the Guards. If anyone knows anything please let Michael Scully or Pat Whelan know.”
Laois have a proud tradition in being competitive in both hurling and football and BallyroanAbbey has produced players to both panels in the past. Money will have to be wasted in repairing the damage, awful to see this.
