The St. Jude’s club man Pat Spillane junior will be togging out for the Sligo footballers this season. Spillane has been very impressive for St. Jude’s who reached the Dublin county final this season. So much so that Sligo took notice and Spillane qualifies for the county through his mother who is a Sligo native.

A statement from the Sligo County Board this morning said;
“Pat Spillane has joined with the county’s senior football panel following the approval by the Competition Controls Committee of the GAA of his request to field with the county of his mother.
Sligo confirm that Pat Spillane's request to play for them has been approved by the CCC.
Nice addition for Tony McEntee. The St Jude's midfielder will be part of their squad for the league.
