Anyone that has ever driven Conor Pass in county Kerry will know just how tight the roads are down in the south west of Ireland. Well this guy clearly didn’t and didn’t listen to the advise he was given as his camper van got stuck on the pass and police had to come to assist.
The driver, who followed the directions of his google maps rather than the ‘turn back now’ signs on the roadside, brought traffic to a halt on the Conor Pass road in west Kerry for two hours on bank holiday Monday.
And he was warned – not just the roadsigns https://t.co/aWt2i9p5MP

On way back, truck with lead van was spotted going through Camp towards Dingle at 15:30
So not just the truck driver but also the driver of the wide vehicle lead van ignored the signs

Don’t think he’ll be trying that again and he upset a lot of people that had to wait in the cars for two hours… You really don’t want to be driving around the edge of Ireland with a camper van like that..
