The former Kerry football and one of the fans favourites Michael Frank Russell is still going strong at 45 years of age is still going strong as Colm Parkinson from Smaller Fish GAA reports.
The great Mike Frank Russel (45) came on for Laune Rangers 2nd team last night and scored equalising point to send game to extra-time and then the winning penalty in extra-time, some man!
He was some footballer back in the day and clearly hasn’t lost it and that hunger with it also, great to see one of the greats still togging out for his club, epically in his mid 40’s

Michael Frank Russell has won nearly every medal possible in the GAA in terms of football, just missing a railway cup….and is still plying his trade with the club…the true silent assassin…#footballlegend https://t.co/hUYONMKSZA

Isn’t it great to see all this club action going on at the moment when the weather is still good, instead of in the depths of winter.
