Liverpool are one of the many clubs in the Premier League struggling to fill out their strongest XI during the Covid-19 pandemic. Klopp’s experiment tonight in defence is not the first time he’s tried to slot a midfielder into centre half and it seemed to work out well last time as Fabinho has been consistent at the back after a shaky start. The Brazilian will know how to handle Englishman Jordan Henderson in defence and will know what to say to him to calm his nerves.
The former Sunderland player will be starting in defence alongside regular starts Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson and Fabinho.
