Jose Mourinho has been fired as Tottenham Hotspur manager.
The decision has been made on Monday news and comes just hours after news broke that 12 of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Spurs, are set to form a European Super League.
Mourinho’s sacking will come as little surprise to most – especially considering the club’s dire league form echoed by their mid-table position.
However, coincidently or not, the news Mourinho is no longer Spurs’ manager has perfectly coincided with the confirmation of plans to form a ESL.
