Though he was unable to deliver European glory at Real Madrid, he won La Liga during a period of Barcelona dominance under Pep Guardiola, when they were arguably the greatest club side in history.

Having returned to Chelsea, Mourinho delivered the Premier League title in his second season – then it all fell apart, and the rest is history.

Jose Mourinho’s career has fallen apart before his eyes.

Spurs’ 3-0 defeat to Dinamo Zagreb and subsequent exit from the Europa League on Thursday evening marked a new low in Mourinho’s managerial career, and if the Daily Mail are to be believed, it could be set to cost him his job.

The Daily Mail report that Mourinho is now in real danger of being sacked, with Tottenham’s season effectively over after their exit from Europe.

It’s unclear how exactly he could possible repair his reputation after his failures at Chelsea, Manchester United and now Spurs.
