Dublin footballer Jonny Cooper has hung up his boots after a number of years wearing the blue jersey, in that time the Na Fianna club man won seven All-Ireland medals. He’ll be missed, a talented defender and I’m sure he’ll carry on playing with the club.
Dublin will look to win back the All-Ireland, having not won the last two, the last two going to Kerry and Tyrone. Who do you see winning the All-Ireland next year? There’s one thing for sure Jonny Cooper is going to be a massive blow to Dublin’s chances.
The Na Finna man won 7 All-Irelands, 10 Leinsters, 5 National Football Leagues and 2 All-Stars. Not a bad career, he’ll have fond memories for a lot of the Dublin supporters.
