Former Fleetwood manager Joey Barton is back in management after landing a job at Bristol Rovers the BBC have reported.
The 38-year-old has agreed a deal at the Memorial Stadium until 2023 and returns to management after leaving League One rivals Fleetwood last month.
Barton was relieved of his managerial duties Fleetwood Town in January after three years of managing the League One side.

In a short statement on the club’s official website, they confirmed: “Fleetwood Town can confirm manager Joey Barton has left the club with immediate effect.
“We would like to thank Joey for his work during his time at Highbury Stadium and wish him success in the future.”
Rovers will be hopeful of some success under the former Premier League midfielder after he helped guide Fleetwood to the League One play-offs last season.
Barton is Rovers’ third manager this season taking over from the recently sacked Paul Tisdale who was given the axe earlier this month after less than three months at the helm.
