James Maddison has made his opinion clear on both of Liverpoolâs red cards amidst protests from Jurgen Klopp.
Liverpool was left heartbroken on Saturday evening after conceding a 96th-minute own goal to hand Tottenham the win.
Kloppâs side did well to hold on as long as they did after getting both Curtis Jones and Diogo Jota sent off, finishing the game with nine men.

The Reds were also on the wrong end of an incorrect decision by VAR, ruling out Luis Diazâs first-half goal for offside when he was clearly on. The PGMOL issued an apology to Liverpool after the game and subsequently removed both VAR officials from their upcoming duties.
Klopp was furious with all the decisions after the game but Maddison stated that he âshouldnât complain too muchâ about the red cards.
âJotaâs definitely was [a red],â Maddison told Sky Sports (as transcribed by The BBC ).
âThe Curtis Jones one early on got shown on the big screen I think was a red card as well. Iâm not sure Jurgen will complain too much about those too.â
Both Jota and Jones will miss the crucial tie against Brighton next weekend as they try to gain ground on frontrunners Manchester City.
