Top British boxer offers to step in and save Jake Paul’s Madison Square Garden fight card

Chris Eubank Jr has offered to step in and save Jake Paul’s August 6th fight card at Madison Square Garden.

Paul was initially due to fight Tommy Fury at MSG when the venue was booked, but he pulled out of the fight for a second time, citing visa issues and the subsequent denial of entry to the United States.

As a result, Paul drafted in Hasim Rahman Jr as Fury’s replacement. That fight was due to go ahead until Rahman Jr revealed, a week out from the fight, that he was not going to be able to make weight.

That left Paul and his team with no choice but to cancel not just his own fight, but the entire card. The social media sensation claimed that the cancellation has cost him and his team millions of dollars.

Fear not, though, Jake. There could be a way to still go ahead and hold the card, as well as fighting a boxer who is regarded as one of the most skilled in his division – Chris Eubank Jr.

Of course, Paul is not ready to fight a boxer of Eubank Jr’s quality and the Brit is just having fun on social media, but we can’t lie, we’d be seriously intrigued to see how that fight panned out.
