Kevin De Bruyne appears to be rocking makeup for Manchester City’s tussle with Brighton this afternoon.
De Bruyne, who has been one of the players of the season across Europe this campaign to date, starts for City today as they host Brighton at the Etihad.
Brighton have responded well to losing Graham Potter, who joined Chelsea after Thomas Tuchel’s sacking, but face an uphill battle against the champions today.
The Seagulls may well be spurred on by the idea that City talisman De Bruyne is not at 100% fitness this afternoon – or at least so it appeared in the warm-up
De Bruyne was spotted by the TV cameras sporting a black eye, which from the right angle, certainly looks as though he’s sporting some kind of eye makeup.

We’d be intrigued to see how the football world would react if one day a superstar like De Bruyne were to turn up to a game sporting makeup of this nature.
It’s not uncommon nowadays for men to be doing so, but something tells us that football fans are not quite ready to respond positively to that…
