🚨The GAA have a serious problem on their hands after another shocker this weekend!

Another action packed weekend of GAA around the country, the hurling was absolutely brilliant once again, but the football clearly is a spent force. Well the provincial football Championship anyways.

Dublin vs Offaly at Croke Park really wasn’t something worth talking about or attending, clearly!

See the comments below ..

r/GAA - [Will O'Callaghan] Derek Kent can argue that the provincials are alive and well but fans are voting with their feet and wallets.

Today was the lowest attendance for a Leinster SFC semi final double header since COVID restrictions.

Both Dublin games attracted 21000 ,I reckon no more 5000 people attended the other 6 games in leinster championship , that’s less than 50000 people attending 9 matches in leinster this year. Poor and unsustainable

How many were at the Galway kilkenny match should the hurling be binned as well

How many at Waterford v Clare in Munster? Or Sligo game in Connaught? Game shouldn’t have been played in Croke Park and all school kids should get in free.

Well one team picks from half it’s population and wins it easy every year which is the problem GAA won’t tackle

Well they binned the Leinster hurling championship a long time ago and still only 9k in salthill today so there’s your answer, provincials not the problem.

If you’re simply making a decision based on attendances, then the Leinster hurling championship would have to go too!!
