Another cracking weekend of hurling just gone, but the Cork vs Clare game was on GAAGo and wouldn’t you know it, Waterford vs Tipperary will be on GAAGo again next weekend and people are raging with this! How is this promoting the game?

The hurling championship has been unreal so far and it was always going to be!
So how in God's name are the two games next weekend (Wexford v Galway and Waterford v Tipp – both on Saturday) being shown exclusively on GAAGO????
RTÉ showing Munster/Connacht SFC finals on Sunday!

Our Liam McCarthy hurlers have got 3 minutes over 2 @TheSundayGame shows. The same show that had a whole segment a few weeks ago about the growth of the game and exposure for hurling in other counties.. holy jayus..

It is a stipulation in the contract between RTE and GAA that provincial finals in football and hurling are shown live. Another reason why the provincial football championship should be played before Allianz League.
That’s how they think. They see a meaningless Provincial Final as superior to effective knockout Hurling.
Last Saturday their was 4 rugby matches on TV zero GAA Antrim wexford Down Armagh etc and yesterday Cork Clare ,Galway KK and Donegal Tyrone all on GAA GO , why are we paying money to watch amateurs on TV but you can watch rugby professionals for free .
I don’t get it – should RTE not show the provincial finals? Or are we just rinsing and repeating the arguements from 12 months ago?
Why do Rte pick its games before the championship starts, Surely if they pick them on weekly basis, We would see the games that matter, Like Cork v Clare instead of the Tipp v Lim game
