🚨The GAA set to meet this weekend to make a big decision on the Championship structure for 2024

The GAA are set to meet at the weekend to discuss the possibility of pushing the inter county season back a week, that would mean you would have an All-Ireland football final in the first weekend of August rather then the last weekend of July.

According to RTE it’s increasingly likely that the four divisional finals will be retained next year.

But counties are still looking for an extra week to be found between the end of the league and start of the championship, which seems likely to delay the start of the club season.

Also RTE understands that most counties want to retain the pre-season provincial competitions.
