Rival fans have been hammering into Jurgen Klopp after today’s match with many labeling him a hypocrite for his actions against Aston Villa and it seems like they actually have a point.
Jurgen has made all the competitions he’s involved in along with all the fans clear that he’s unhappy with scheduling and that his players don’t get enough rest. He even started a feud with Sheffield Wednesday boss Chris Wilder over the introduction of 5 substitutions with Klopp heavily in favour of them.
Yet when the German boss hears that there is a major outbreak of Covid-19 in the Aston Villa squad and they will be playing numerous Under-18s against him he chooses to playa lot of his most precious players. Salah, Mane, Fabinho, Henderson and Wijnaldum all started with Firmino and even injury prone Thiago coming off the bench.
It doesn’t seem to make sense why he would do this with how much he has complained in the past and fans noticed.
